President: Andrew WeiClass of 2023 Latin Level: V+ School: BASIS Tucson North Favorite JCL Memory: "Something about those early morning car rides to JCL events hits different. Meeting in the parking lot in darkness. Riding in the van playing Risk with my friends. Savoring the transience of the moment mirrored by the strange liminal energy the prelight dawn provides. Anticipating the insane and fun day ahead. Altogether, these memories are quintessentially JCL." What's your classical spirit animal?: " Grumio/Marcus Aurelius. Grumio capitalizes on a volcanic eruption that buries entire towns by sellings volcanic rocks on the street. He is a hustler, a bon vivant, a man of intrigue, a connoisseur of the finer things. He is Grumio. ❤️" Most Interesting Thing About You: "My new interesting fact is that I look a lot like Gong Yoo from Squid Game 👍." (As well as Jungkook from BTS-writer's observation) As the President of the Arizona Junior Classical League, Andrew oversees all the events, decisions, and activities that the state organizes.
